Lorde "Team"

Something for a Saturday...

My life is filled with awkward moments...which in a way, makes it enjoyable. Last night, at the end of a hard week of work I figured McDonalds was the only option for tea. As I was speaking to the skinny teenager at the drive through window, I was miles away...just too tired to really care what he was saying. I heard him say "drive onto the next window", instead of just driving on, I said "you too"...which was my automatic response to people saying "have a good day". I saw the look he gave me, which was along the lines of, what the f#*k was that about...so I drove off in a hurry, and nearly took off my side mirror along the drive through wall. I also have many moments where I am walking, and do that strange thing where you bump into someone and neither of you knows which way to go. I have now learnt to not try and figure out which way to go, instead I just stand in the one place. Unfortunately, some people also use this same strategy which then results in standing awkwardly in front of a complete stranger. I can't help but laugh! Anyway, onto different things...
I have another song from Lorde to post. I think this girl is super talented, and I am loving her music right now.

The song is called Team... Turn it up and enjoy...

Skrillex...

I love this song, it has also been a big favourite...don't like the dodgy guy in it, but Skrillex is a legend with music. It just gives you a bit of a kick for a tiresome Tuesday...yawn yawn yawn
Turn it up!

Sweater Weather...

I like this song...that's all I have to say :)

Lorde!

This lovely girl is amazing! She is super talented, and I am proud to say that she is a New Zealander...homegrown talent right here!

I am enjoying all of her songs, and her unique combination of music genres.

It is hard to believe that she is only 16 years old. She is handling the music industry and recognition so well. She is intriguing, unique, and I can imagine her making a mark with her music in a big way overseas.
Watch this space!!
